TENNIS is one of the founder sports played at Hong Kong Cricket Club. There are three all-weather courts available for Member's use from 7:00a.m.-11:00p.m. daily.

The Club is very active in tennis competition with one of the highest participation rates of all Clubs in various HK Tennis Leagues. We currently field five Men's teams and three Ladies' teams in both the HKTA Summer and Winter Leagues, one Mixed Doubles teams in the HKTA Mixed (I) Doubles League and three teams in the Veterans 80+ League. The Club also fields three teams in the HK Ladies Tennis League (HKLTL), which is held on weekday mornings. We also have our own Junior Satellite Inter-Club League with 2 teams participating in 2 seasons each year, playing against a number of other clubs on the island.

Tennis coaching at the Club has gone from strength to strength over the years, and annually sees around 300 juniors being instructed, starting with our Tiger Tennis program for 4-6 year olds, up to our Junior League Team squad training sessions. The juniors also take part in holiday camps, tournaments and inter- club competitions. Our coaches also offer private & group coaching, Ladies Clinics, Cardio Tennis and a range of social tennis events for our adult Members.

All in all, tennis is one of the most popular sports here at the HKCC, with a variety of programs and coaching available seven days a week. HKTA Veterans' League Results March 2017

The HKTA Veteran Men's and Ladies' Evening Leagues concluded last month.

Final results as of 10 March 2017 are as follows:
-Combined 80+ Men’s Group A: 6 wins 0 losses (1st position)
-Combined 80+ Men’s Group B: 4 wins 3 losses (4th position)
-Combined 80+ Ladies: 4 wins 2 losses (3rd position)

Special mention to the Combined 80+ Mens Group A team for winning Veterans' League for the 4th year in a row, and for remaining undefeated once again this year. Great leadership on display from Captain Courageous Phil Lung and let's hope the team can keep this winning streak going and defend the title for an unprecendented fifth time again in 2018!

HKTA Summer Evening League April 2017

We have a total of 8 teams participating in the upcoming HKTA Summer Evening League this year. Teams will be competing in the following divisions:

Ladies A+ Ladies A Ladies B

Some great off season recruitment has taken place and teams are quietly confident of bringin plenty of silverware back to the Club this summer!! Match results will be posted shortly.


HKLTL League News:

The second half of the 2016/2017 HK Ladies Tennis League season commenced in January and all three HKCC teams have hit the ground running, winning a number of matches in impressiv  fashion. Let's keep the good form going ladies and finish the season strongly.

Results as of March 10  are as follows:
-Ladies Premier 4 wins 1 draw 1 loss with 5 matches remaining (currently in 5th position)
-Ladies Div 1 2 wins 2 draws 3 losses with 4 matches remaining (currently in 8th position)
-Ladies Div 3 0 wins 2 draws 2 losses with 4 matches remaining (currently in 5th position)
